My Journey.....

Okay, okay.....the time has come and quite frankly, I'm tired of the excuses I've been telling myself over and over again......JUST DO IT ALREADY! 

I've been going to start a blog for so long now that I've allowed the fear of it to take over and make me believe that the big scary blogging world would be just to much to handle.....excuses. 

But, then again.....maybe, just maybe, this fear of the blogging unknown,  has just been part of my personal journey. In order to grow I need to take a few steps forward and realize that honestly, the only one I could possibly fail, is me and that would be by not trying! 

Instead of focusing on my problems or fears I must focus on my blessings! I need to listen to the inner voice encouraging me to keep walking or in this case, blogging! 

About three years ago I discovered yoga, not just the exercise but also the spiritual aspects of this beautiful practice. Immediately I noticed my world changing around me. My attitudes softening, my beliefs broadening, my appreciation for all living things deepening, my heart expanding. The "aha" moment didn't hit me like a "ton of bricks" but rather covered me like a warm blanket on a cold winters night. I just knew that I had found what I was looking for. 

I have learned the difference between being religious and being spiritual and for that I am forever grateful. Learning that we each have our own journey to walk. We all have lessons to learn while we are attending this precious earth school. 

Yes, we can walk together along the path but we cannot walk someone else's journey. Life's journeys are as individual as fingerprints and softly falling snowflakes. 

I've always been a creative person. Ideas seem to fill my head and burst into expression. 

I've been making and selling crafts and jewelry for over 25 years. My latest venture has been inspired by my personal journey. Having my spirit opened to all of the wonderful, mystical, spiritual wonders this world offers us has led me to introduce a new line of handmade healing energy jewelry called My Journey. I am fascinated with the healing powers of stones and I want to share this wonderful energy with others.

This brings me to my new blog and my reason for putting myself out there. My intention is to have this be a space of peace, love and light. A place of inspiration and gratitude. Free your inner child to bask in the wonder all around you, remembering that you once did believe in magical things and its time to believe once again......
